Doha: Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani has strongly criticized Iran over recent missile and drone strikes targeting locations across the Gulf region, describing the attacks as a “big sense of betrayal” by a neighboring country.

Speaking in a media interview during the escalating tensions in the Middle East, Al Thani said Qatar was deeply disappointed by the attacks, emphasizing that the country had been actively trying to reduce tensions in the region through diplomatic efforts. He said the strikes were unexpected and could further destabilize the already volatile situation in the Gulf.
