Bengaluru: The Karnataka government has announced a series of healthcare initiatives in the 2026–27 state budget, placing significant focus on improving maternal health services, strengthening hospital infrastructure, and expanding digital healthcare systems across the state. The measures are aimed at improving access to medical services, particularly for women and rural populations.

The budget was presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, marking his 17th state budget. The government outlined plans to modernize healthcare facilities, introduce technology-driven medical services, and strengthen preventive healthcare programs.
